We have released a technology preview release of apostrophe-tiptap-rich-text-widgets, allowing use of the tiptap rich text editor in Apostrophe 2.x projects. tiptap will be the standard editor in Apostrophe 3.x.
Generally speaking it works well and can be used in real projects, with some caveats regarding possible changes to the developer APIs for extending it until 3.x is released and we stabilize those APIs. After that, this module will continue to be available in a stable release for Apostrophe 2.x.
